Our Online Minecraft Sessions

Join us online in our dedicated creative Minecraft server to build and collaborate!
SafePlay expands on our successful YellowCraft program run in partnership with Yellow Ladybugs, and is is designed especially for neurodivergent gamers who want to play and build social connections with others in their community.

What makes us different?
Every session is hosted on our private, whitelisted servers in tandem with Zoom. Frequently asked questions

We will provide guided instructions on how to connect to our private server. You will need a device that can run Zoom, a copy of Minecraft: Bedrock edition, and a compatible gaming device, such as:
– Xbox
– Nintendo Switch
– PC
– iPad

If you are using an Xbox or Nintendo Switch, you will also need an Xbox Live or Nintendo Switch Online subscription that allows you to play online.

Unfortunately Mac and PlayStation devices are not compatible with our Bedrock server.

Depending on your NDIS plan inclusions, you may be able to claim SafePlay sessions using NDIS funding. Please confirm this with your local area coordinator and/or plan manager before registering for SafePlay. Please let us know if you require any supporting documentation for NDIS and we will help you out.

We find that our programs are the best fit for players aged between 8 and 15 as a guideline, but we know our players are individuals with diverse needs. If your child is outside this age range but you think they will be a good fit SafePlay, please get in touch with us and we will help you assess whether the program is right for them.

Unfortunately the Java version of Minecraft is not compatible with our server. You will need the Bedrock version to join.

Unfortunately mods cannot be used on our Minecraft server as they can cause compatibility issues for other players.

SafePlay sessions are consistently supervised by trained adult facilitators on both the session Zoom call and in the SafePlay server. All voice and text chat logs are monitored by adult session facilitators, and participants are provided with consistent support to play, build, and create together in positive and inclusive ways.

The safety of our SafePlay participants is our highest priority. If a SafePlay participant would like to meet up with a friend outside the sessions, we will work with families to make a meetup plan in a safe and controlled way.

At the moment, the SafePlay server runs in Creative mode. Survival mode is not available yet, but please keep an eye on our channels for future updates!
